Thornton Manor wedding photography
Emily and Dung flew in from Hong Kong to get married near Emily’s home town of Chester. Dung is Vietnamese and so the wedding was really different starting with a tea ceremony in the morning before the official ceremony in the afternoon. The groom has to bring a dowry to the brides parents house and then tea is served in front of both families. Dung & Emily are such a lovely warm couple, it was a pleasure to be invited to photograph their wedding. The official ceremony was held at Thornton Manor and included some Vietnamese poetry readings after the speeches by the groom’s father Tong. Here are a few of my favourites from the day (there’s so many I wanted to post!)
