I absolutely had a blast doing the photography for this wedding at Beeston Manor. It’s a lovely venue that I’ve never shot at before but the extensive grounds and family feel make it a great place to work. From the minute I met up with Claire & Mike for their pre-wedding shoot and Claire presented me with cupcakes, I knew we were going to get on like a house on fire Claire told me that their wedding was going to be a little bit country and a little bit vintage and I loved it. When she told me they were going to have hay bails and space hoppers, I was almost doing cartwheels. When she told me she was wearing Jimmy Choos I was jumping up and down with joy. Their day was gorgeous, filled with love and the happiness of two families coming together and Claire & Mike really put their own stamp on the day with their selection of gorgeous vintage inspired details. Well, welcome to this epic blog post, it must be a record breaker for me!! There were just so many wonderful images to choose from, I couldn’t narrow it down to less than this. This was one of my favourite weddings of 2012. Katy & Paul are such a lovely couple and their wedding was filled with little details. It’s safe to say they definitely did it their way. From Katie’s beautiful Jenny Packham dress, to the vintage Beetle wedding car and their beautiful styling at the venue, there was so much to photograph. They married at St Mary’s in Astbury before moving on to their reception at Sandhole Oak Barn.

Wedding Photography | The best of 2012

Happy New Year! As is customary for photographers at this time of year, we like to go through our previous years work and pick out some of our favourite images for a Best Of post. Well as Lloyd Grossman would say, I’ve deliberated, cogitated and digested and finally come up with a selection of my favourite photographs from last year. I got to work with some wonderful couples and also had some epic achievements including having my work published in Pure Weddings Magazine on more than one occasion, Chester Racecourse selected my images for use in their new wedding brochure, I was selected to photograph Love Bridal’s launch shoot and I was asked to do the very first shoot for White Noise weddings.

Here’s to a fantastic 2013 – I can’t wait to get photographing all of the wonderful couples who have chosen me to photograph their special days this year.

Mains Hall Singleton Wedding Photography

I’ve been dying to blog this wedding ever since I photographed it back in July. Jane & Andy were married at St Annes Church in Singleton followed by a reception at The Great Hall at Mains. As I mentioned when I blogged their pre-wedding shoot, they met over a tea related incident so it was only natural that the tea theme should continue into the wedding. They had so many cute details to capture, it was brilliant and I had trouble narrowing down to this selection. I hope you enjoy

Victoria & Andy were married on a glorious September day at St James’s in Didsbury followed by a reception at Stock restaurant in Manchester. I could tell when I first met them that these locations were really personal to them both. They had thought about lots of lovely details and even put on a vintage bus to take their guests from the church to the reception. Here are my favourites from the day.

Tattershall Castle Wedding | Laura & Andreas | Lincolnshire Wedding Photography

When Laura sent me over the final details for her wedding I started to get really excited about photographing it. There were so many quirky details to photograph and also shooting in a place I have never been before is brilliant because it really gets my creative juices flowing. They married at the beautiful Tattershall Castle in Lincoln, followed by a reception at the Charlotte House Hotel. The hotel drove us round the city in a golf buggy stopping at all the beautiful places to get photographs! To top it off there was a morris dancing festival in Lincoln and they couldn’t wait to pose with the bride and groom In the evening we were blessed with the most amazing light so I took them out again to capture some really special shots. There were so many photographs I wanted to blog but here’s my final selection, I hope you enjoy looking.

Michelle & Chi were married at a family filled ceremony at Etrop Grange. They chose a beautiful green theme with cartoon characters as their table names which reflected their personality perfectly. The couple kept things traditional with a beautiful Chinese tea ceremony before the wedding breakfast. Michelle looked stunning in her Pronovias gown and their little girl looked so pretty in her little dress and shoes. Here are some of my favourites.
